New larger company on the way to success

The QUNDIS company, created by the merger of the long-established companies, QVEDIS (Mühlhausen, Thuringia) and KUNDO SystemTechnik (St. Georgen, Baden-Württemberg), has been active as a supplier of metering devices and systems for the consumption-dependent billing of water and room heating since January 2009.

The company has more than 220 employees, of whom 20% are employed in research and development alone. The radio-controlled recording systems developed here are currently being implemented in approximately 500,000 flats and offices across Europe. With a total turnover exceeding 50 million euros in the business year 2008/2009, and current locations in 24 European countries, QUNDIS GmbH is a forceful and serious presence in the international market. This allows us to take an active part in forming the market without losing the flexibility and openness that were characteristic of both QVEDIS and KUNDO SystemTechnik in the past.

Since April 2007, the main shareholder of the QUNDIS Group has been an investment company that, together with members of the management and the advisory board, who also have an interest in the company, support the new QUNDIS GmbH which has its headquarters in Mühlhausen in its efforts to become an international leader in the sector in terms of technology and innovation.
