Allmess radio add-on module available

Since January 2010 there has been another radio module available for the Q AMR and
Q walk-by system, the radio add-on module for Allmess water meters. This means all the mechanical water meters prepared for radio from the major water meter manufacturers can be integrated in QUNDIS radio systems.

The advantages of radio add-on modules are, on the one hand, that they can be retrofitted to water meters. This means no complex replacement of water meters is necessary if the customer decides in favour of a radio-type system during the water meter’s service life. On the other hand, the radio modules can be used for up to 13 years, whereas mechanical water meters have to be replaced more regularly than this – depending on legislation.

Q walk-by – readout system PC-compatible

The Q walk-by readout system is now being delivered PC-compatible. This way, we are accommodating the growing trend towards so-called netbooks (small and light laptops). This allows customers to carry out evaluations on site more easily, and to use other programs – including ones from QUNDIS – on the same system.
