Q modules

The module family from QUNDIS

Modules are used to extend the functional scope of existing metering devices, particularly with regard to integration into systems, such as Q M-Bus, Q AMR or Q walk-by.

Their advantage is that they can be retrofitted, and the module service life is independent of the service life of the metering devices. Thus, for example, the add-on module can be used on a water meter for up to 13 years, no matter how long the water meter may be used in the respective country (on account of legal regulations such as the calibration directive in Germany).

M-Bus modules for upgrading heat meters series him1 - Q M-Bus

M-Bus modules for upgrading heat meters of the series G2x, G5x and G0x for integration into an M-Bus system
Series him1 - Q M-Bus

Heat meters of the series G2x, G5x and G0x can be integrated into an M-Bus system via this M-Bus module. This can take place either during initial assembly or later. The readout process for the metering devices is made easier by central readout in the wired M-Bus network and optimised in terms of error detection and data transmission security. In addition, current values are available via the M-Bus.

Impulse adapter for upgrading consumption meters with impulse output series AEW310.2 - Q M-Bus

Impulse adapter for upgrading consumption meters with impulse output for integration into an M-Bus system
Series AEW310.2 - Q M-Bus

The M-Bus impulse adapter AEW310.2 records and processes the impulses from one or two consumption meters with impulse output and transmits the data to an Q M-Bus network. These can be meters for hot or cold water, heating, gas and electricity. The consumption data can be requested by a M-Bus building central unit via the M-Bus.

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meter series WFZ166.MO – Q walk-by

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meters from QUNDIS for the recording of consumption data by radio
WFZ166.MO series – Q walk-by

The add-on module WFZ166.MO records the counting impulses of the water meters prepared for wireless transmission and processes them. In this way, the mechanical water meters are integrated into the Q walk-by system via this add-on module. This can take place either during initial assembly or later. This means these water meters can be readout by radio in situ without the use of stationary data collectors. This means that it is no longer necessary to enter the property or note the readout values by hand. Errors in transmission of data to the billing system are excluded to a major extent.

The Modularis counter is used both by QUNDIS and other water meter manufacturers, which means that the module can also be used for these.

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meters series WFZ166.xx – Q walk-by

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meters from other manufacturers for the recording of consumption data by radio
WFZ166.xx series – Q walk-by

The add-on modules WF166.xx record the counting impulses of the water meters prepared for wireless transmission made by external suppliers and process them. In this way, the mechanical water meters are integrated into the Q walk-by system through these add-on modules. This can take place either during initial assembly or later. This means these water meters can be readout by radio in situ without the use of stationary data collectors. This means that it is no longer necessary to enter the property or note the readout values by hand. Errors in the transmission of data to the billing system are excluded to a large extent.
Add-on radio modules for the manufacturers Allmess, Deltamess, Elster, Wasser-Geräte and Wehrle are available.

Radio add-on modules for upgrading heat meters series WFZ166.Ox – Q walk-by

Radio add-on modules for upgrading heat meters from QUNDIS for the recording of consumption data by radio
Series WFZ166.Ox - Q walk-by

Heat meters of the compact series G20/21, G54/55/58, the split heat meters of the series G03/04, G13/14 and G18/19 and the calculator units R20/21/28 can be integrated in the
Q walk-by
system through these add-on modules. Installation can take place either during initial assembly or later. The add-on radio module records heat metering data from the heat meter or calculator unit. Readout is then by radio, direct access to the device is not necessary. The modules are available with an integrated or a remote antenna.

Impulse adapter for upgrading consumption meters with impulse output series AEW366.2 – Q walk-by

Impulse adapter for upgrading consumption meters with impulse output for the recording of consumption data by radio
Series AEW366.2 – Q walk-by

The impulse adapter AEW366.2 measures and processes the impulses from one or two consumption meters with impulse output and transmits the data to a Q walk-by system. Thus, it is simply to integrate meters for hot or cold water, gas, electricity and other media in the system. This means these meters can be readout by radio in situ without the use of stationary data collectors. This means that it is no longer necessary to enter the property or note the readout values by hand. Errors in transmission of data to the billing system are excluded to a major extent.

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meter series WFZ16.MO – Q AMR

Radio add-on modules for upgrading mechanical water meters from QUNDIS for the recording of consumption data by radio
WFZ16.MO series – Q AMR

The add-on module WFZ16.MO records the counting impulses of the water meters prepared for wireless transmission and processes them. In this way, the mechanical water meters are integrated into the Q AMR system via this add-on module. This can take place either during initial assembly or later. This means that the water meter can be readout using stationary data collectors. Readout can take place through different expansion stages in the building, outside the building or by remote data transmission. This means that it is no longer necessary to enter the flat (or even the building) and note the readout values by hand. Errors in the transmission of data to the billing system are excluded to a large extent.

The Modularis counter is used both by QUNDIS and by other water meter manufacturers, which means that the module can also be used for these.
