QUNDIS donates new trees to the environment for Christmas

This year QUNDIS GmbH has hit on highly individual idea for its Christmas gift. At the end of the year the Erfurt manufacturer of metering devices is making a donation of 900 trees, which means that three trees will be planted for each employee. The trees will be donated to Plant-for-the-Planet, the international environment initiative which QUNDIS has been supporting for two years now.

Among other activities the Erfurt company collects donations for the environmental initiative, plants trees and organises information events for children and teenagers, so-called “Children’s Academies”, for the purpose of generating awareness of the importance of environmental protection and combating climate change. The next Children’s Academy will be taking place in Erfurt in April 2018.

Sustainability and environmental protection play a central role in the QUNDIS corporate philosophy. For some years now the company has been pursuing its sustainability strategy with a system for the return of used devices, an EU-certified environmental management system, and support for Plant-for-the-Planet.

All those who are interested can now support Plant-for-the-Planet with a small donation. On the company website the QUNDIS tree counter provides an overview of the various possibilities for donation, the targets which have been set, and the regions where the tree planting takes place.
