QUNDIS CEO Volker Eck is elected to the board of OMS-Group

Since the beginning of December QUNDIS is providing a new board member to the Open Metering Standard (OMS) association: In addition to Professor Dr. Axel Sikora from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, QUNDIS CEO Volker Eck has just been elected to the OMS executive board team. QUNDIS is not only a strong, but also an experienced voice for the common goal of the group: promote the interoperability of meters for different consumption media. All QUNDIS products such as heat meters, electronic water meters and the gateways “Q gateway 5” and “5.5 direct” are generally featuring OMS standards. When choosing QUNDIS, investors can rely on interoperable, future-orientated metering systems with long-term profitability.

OMS is an open and patent-free energy metering standard which ensures the compatibility of consumption data regardless of their energy type. Based on M-Bus-Norm, OMS also complies with the international communication standard for Home and Building KNX. Thereby OMS group works for a sustainable usage of energy and resources by giving consumers the freedom of product independence to manage their consumption not only holistically but also in a data-secure way.
